Miles Russell is a multi-instrumentalist musician and musical director. Jazz work includes playing with NYJO, the Simon Bates Big Band, Sidewinder Big Band, the Freddy Woods Big Band, Bazooka Heist, the Jazz Mafia Big band, the Mark Travers project, the Jiving Lindy Hoppers, and many others including his own comedy jazz band, the Speakeasy Revival Jazz Orchestra.

His theatre MD and actor/musician theatre credits include Dirty Dancing (West End & national tours), Return to the Forbidden Planet (West End & tour), Song of Singapore (West End & Chichester), Sawdust (Old Fire Station, Oxford), The Goon Show (national tour), Round the Horne (national tour), Grimm Tales (Chichester Festival Theatre) and Justin’s Band with Justin Fletcher (national tour), along with numerous pantomimes.

He is also an accomplished composer and arranger including creating the music for commercials and productions including theatre tours of Dear Zoo & Dear Santa by Rod Campbell and Tales from Acorn Wood by Julia Donaldson.
