Michael graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2010 and has since been working as a freelance musician throughout the UK. He first performed with the Milestone Big Band in 2011 and became MD in 2014. In addition to a busy teaching schedule, Michael spends his time playing tenor sax with a touring Swing Band, and runs a Jazz Trio that performs across the South of England and in London. He has played in some pretty exciting places over the years, including the o2 Arena, the Royal Albert Hall, Cadogan Hall, the Sky Garden, New Wimbledon Theatre, the Oval Cricket Gound, and Birmingham Symphony Hall.
